Architectural & Adventure Photographer Charles Stemen has received the "Top Take Editors Choice" in this summers Colorado Life Magazine. The photo features rock climbers Colin Trettle and Sarah Tey on top of the Devils Thumb alpine tower. This tower is visible from the town of Winter Park, and is a notable landmark of the area and popular hiking destination, although is rarely climbed. Likely due to the long approach for a short pitch of climbing. That said, it is a stunning summit! We left our cars around 4am for this shot, which was completed on commission for Winter Park Resort.
